I Am Not A Loser - BOTW #14

This week was a really good week for brickfilms. Not only were many uploaded, for reasons such as The 'Scaring Someone's Pants/Socks Off' Competion on bricksinmotion.com, but it was also BrickFlix, which sadly I didn't attend :( Well, lets see the results for this week!
3.LENS MAKES KILL - StUf364. Although this video was short, it was still very skilful. As you may or may not know, StUfF364 is the 2nd Channel of animationIsaac, who is actually an amazing animator. This video was featured in this post because of the high-quality animation, and the humour. However, there's no set design, and I think making even the smallest set would be satisfying, and would add to the overall impact of the film.
2.Lego Carnival - MICHAELHICKOXFilms. This film was a clever little idea. This video was a classic Michael Hickox film. A two-word title, and a normal thing which usually ends badly for a poor minifigure. However, the thing I enjoyed most about it was the amazing set design. The entire carnival was deliberately constructed so it would be a good parody of real, life-like rides. The construction I liked the most was the Merry-Go-Round and some other rides that are featured in the background, rather than ones that the character interacted with. It's also very funny, so it really deserves a place in this weeks post.
1.Bestia - France And Alex. This film is a breakthrough. Two and a half years to make a 22 minute long film. I am astounded by the time and effort put into this film. I also appreciate the fact that it doesn't go the comedic route, as I personally wouldn't want to watch a 22 minute long comedy brickfilm (actually, I would, I would just prefer it to be more serious) The voice acting is good, even if it is in French, but non-french speakers can understand it with the subtitles. The animation is also good -   the hard work has obviously paid off. The one criticism is, the storyline could do with some serious editing. I appreciate the fact that it was based on a real story, but the scenario just seemed to repeat itself - you'll know that when you see it. But, overall, it was a great way to spend a half hour, and I would really recommend watching it to those who haven't.
